Warrington, Old Chapel

A detailed planning application has been prepared by PDG Architectural for the proposed conversion of existing former chapel and construction of 8 No Residential Apartments within the existing building.

The site is near the town centre within a mixed-use area of offices and residential units with several shops, restaurants & public houses located in the local area.

The property is a gabled structure of modest scale in red brick with stone dressings. Of late Gothic style, it has a tripartite lancet window above a projecting pedimented porch.

The site has the benefit of a cycle parking area to the rear and area for bin storage along with amenity space to the front and rear of the building.
The proposed apartments have been designed around the existing building to keep as many of the existing features as possible, to retain the historic characteristics of the existing building within the town centre.
