Warrington, Old Art College, Cheshire

PDG obtained planning permission for 18 new luxury modern design extensions to the rear for a 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of Warrington city centre. PDG was given permission to perform alterations to the Former Collegiate Institute in Warrington, for conversion to residential use. The proposal building first appears on the 1894 Ordnance Survey plan. The proposals building was extended to the rear around the beginning of the 20th Century, then again later in the 1920s. It has remained reasonably the same since then. It is a contemporary of the majority of buildings around it including the Grade II Listed Museum and Art Gallery amongst others.
