Project Description.

Calverley, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Before starting the constructions on the site, the building there used to be a 20th Century 4-bedroom bungalow located in the heart of Calverley Conservation Area.
The site was vacant until the mid-20th Century, post-World War II when the current dwelling was first established. Historic map regression shows the building has been extended to the west in the 1960s and has remained in this form since. In the 19th Century, the site was coal workings, and until the house was built, it was informal open space through the first half of the 20th Century.
